With the development of technology, lithium batteries have become mainstream. It is green and environmentally friendly. No toxic or harmful heavy metal elements or substances, such as lead, mercury, cadmium, etc., are contained or generated in production, use, or disposal. It is widely used in our daily lives, and a lithium battery box is a protective box that protects the battery cells and internal circuits. What should be noted when designing the lithium battery casing in order to meet the special requirements of waterproofing and shock resistance?

1. Shell toughness: The lithium battery shell should have sufficient mechanical strength to prevent the battery from being subjected to mechanical impact.
2. Battery fixation: The large side of the battery should be fixed on the casing, and the battery should not loosen after installation.
3. Pole connection: It is recommended to use ultrasonic or spot welding, and the design of the lithium battery casing should prevent the pole from being subjected to external forces.
4. The temperature for welding ferrochrome must be controllable and anti-static, and the temperature must not exceed 350 ℃.
5. The welding time shall not exceed 3 seconds and the number of times shall not exceed 5. The next welding can only be carried out after the electrode plate has cooled down.
6. It is strictly prohibited to directly heat the battery cells, as temperatures above 100 ℃ may damage the battery cells.
There are mainly six points mentioned above. The lithium battery casing is very important for the battery, so the design of the lithium battery casing is also very important for the battery. In the design process, it is necessary to master the method well.
