What are the requirements for sheet metal processing of the chassis casing?

There are two commonly used processing profiles in the sheet metal processing of chassis casings, namely steel profiles and aluminum profiles. Although the steel village column frame machine is enclosed and has a large load-bearing capacity, it is difficult to clean the inner wall and solve the problem of corrosion on the inner wall. The chassis is the outer shell of small and medium-sized electronic devices, with a box shaped structure. It can be divided into sheet metal structure chassis, aluminum profile structure chassis, cast structure chassis, and non-metallic material chassis, etc. At present, aluminum profile structural chassis are widely used in electronic products.

In the structural design of the chassis shell sheet metal processing, in terms of its structural craftsmanship, the following points should be noted:
1. The convenience of assembly and wiring should be considered.
2. Parts for arc welding and gas welding should not be coated on the surface before welding.
3. When welding parts, it is necessary to ensure minimal deformation after welding in terms of material thickness and weld length.
4. On the premise of meeting the requirements for chassis shell sheet metal processing, try to keep the structure simple and minimize the number of components.
5. The profile (component) should strive for a simple cross-sectional shape and reduce processing steps while meeting the requirements of strength, stiffness, and aesthetics.
6. Standardized and standardized parts and size series should be used as much as possible to facilitate the selection of universal tooling during chassis shell sheet metal processing, minimize the number of non-standard parts, and make their structure simple.
